Concept
It all began with the great idea to build a quality rifle capable of shooting 1 MOA or better out of the box with a target rifle feel, yet combines a vintage service rifle look into that of an issued M4 to commemorate the service members of the Wyoming Air National Guard. After building such a rifle, we added custom engravings to the butt stock, pistol grip, grip panels, and upper receiver to make this “YELLOWTAILS” rifle truly unique. To take it a step further, we added three lines of laser engraving on the right side of the magwell for each individual owner to customize! All this has came together to make a true one-of-a-kind AR-15 that is decorative, reliable, and accurate dedicated to the men and women of the Wyoming Air National Guard.
Eligibility
This rifle is ONLY available to current or retired members of the Wyoming Air National Guard. Qualifying persons will have an ordering period of 92 days beginning June 12, 2021 and ending on September 12, 2021. After the ordering window closes on September 12, 2021, no late orders, alterations to any existing order(s), or cancellation of orders will be made. Each order will be reviewed by members of the Wyoming Air National Guard to confirm eligibility. If an order is placed by any ineligible person(s), the order will be canceled and a refund issued minus a $50.00 processing fee. Due to the amount of customization going into each individual rifle, all orders are required to be paid in full no later than 2359 hours on September 12, 2021 with all sales being final at that time. Any order(s) not paid in full by the end of the 92 day ordering period will be canceled.

There are many firearms on the market with varying levels of quality and pricing. However, when it comes to wanting a commemorative rifle custom built that has to be pleasing to the eye as well as sturdy, accurate, reliable, and meets the expectations of the men and women of the Wyoming Air National Guard; only a rifle from the Tombspider Arms Custom Shop will do!
Each rifle is hand assembled starting with the heart of the firearm, the barrel. Using a match grade Ballistic Advantage 16” barrel, you are ensured 1 MOA or better accuracy right out of the box with quality ammunition. Next we installed a Larue Tactical MBT 2-stage trigger delivering a 2.5 lb first stage and 2 lb second stage crisp break with a smooth and positive reset. From there the receiver set is given a coat of titanium cerakote before going to the laser table for engraving. Add on the custom made grade-AAA walnut butt stock, grip, and grip panels (all engraved) for a classic service rifle look with a Midwest Industries free floating light weight MLOK rail system. And we finish it off with a full auto BCG, high quality small parts (that well surpass mil-spec requirements), and a set of Magpul MBUS Pro sights. Individual Customization
Each rifle comes with up to three lines of optional engraving (letters and numbers only) that each person can use to individualize their rifle. The engraving will be in a brush script font, the same used by the USAF for pilots names on the side of aircraft. The font size will be determined by the number of characters used on the longest line with up to 12 characters available per line. When completing the order form, please take extra care to ensure you have the correct spelling of names, units, etc. for each line you choose to have engraved because what you put on the order form will be what comes on your rifle!
If you plan to purchase more than one rifle with different engraving(s), you will need to complete a separate order for each rifle.
